Chesterfelt is a company dedicated to continual production improvement and is a fully certified ISO9001 organisation having been first granted certificate no. QO6061 in 1999, one of the first British bituminous manufacturers to achieve this.

Health & Safety

Chesterfelt have an outstanding record regarding Health & Safety and are fully committed to ensure that this continues.

The company fully complies with all known and proposed legislation concerning Health & Safety and all employees are aware of their responsibilities.

All products used and supplied by Chesterfelt are assessed under COSHH 2002 regulations with the relevant data sheets made available.

Environmental Policy 

Chesterfelt is committed to minimising the adverse environmental impact of our operations

• This is achieved through compliance with all environmental legislation and regulation.
• Membership of dedicated organisations such as Valpac to minimise the creation of waste and pollution using best practice.
• Regular reviews are undertaken to improve energy and other resource efficiency and Chesterfelt are members of the Carbon Trust Management Agency.

BBA Certificate

Chesterbreathe Active and Chesterbreathe Rapid Roof Linings from Chesterfelt Group have been certified by the British Board of Agrement (certificate number 05/4240) bringing the total number of BBA certified products to five, making Chesterfelt one of the largest holders of BBA certificates on a comprehensive range of membranes including Breathable and Non Breathable types

Chesterbreathe is an energy efficient non-ventilated cold pitched roof system for use as a roof tile underlay for tiled or slated pitched roofs. The new BBA Certificate supplements the Chesterbreathe Active BBA recently obtained for warm roof applications.
